Austrade's Organic and Non-GMO Brown Rice Syrups have a light amber color and a clean, sweet flavor with light buttery and honey flavor notes.  Made from the enzymatic treatment of rice using GMO free natural enzymes which is filtered and concentrated to heavy syrup.  Available in DE-42 and DE-60.

Rice Maltodextrin

Fructose (aka fruit sugar) is a sweetener that is found naturally in fresh fruits, vegetables and honey. It has a sweetness range of 130 to 180 compared to sucrose at 100, thus is the sweetest natural sugar around.

Crystalline fructose also provides a low Glycemic Index (GI). The glycemic index measures how quickly certain foods release carbohydrates into the bloodstream, which then raise consumers’ blood glucose levels. High GI foods cause blood sugar levels to rise more rapidly, and high blood sugar is known to be the defining feature of diabetes. Scientific evidence has increased to show low GI foods can help control weight and more certainly, help reduce the risk of diabetes and related conditions by raising blood sugar more steadily.

Our crystalline fructose is made from pure sugar, rather than corn, and is available in different mesh sizes as well as certified Kosher for Passover.

Also known as D-Glucose Powder, is a corn starch based sweetener, which contains less than 0.5% water.

Dextrose is easily soluble in water and has a pleasant, fruitlike-refreshing taste of moderate sweetness.

Dextrose enhances taste and shelf life and produces a high-temperature browning effect in baked goods.

Other applications include beverages, candy and confections, dairy products, desserts, fruit preparations, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

Sunflower Lecithin (Liquid)

Although rapeseeds contain only half as much lecithin as soybeans, rapeseed lecithin has grown tremendously popular over the past decade.

Interest in non-soy lecithin has grown because of GMO issues in soybeans and possible food allergic reactions.

There is often confusion between the use of the terms "rapeseed" and "canola". Rapeseed is the traditional name for the group of oilseed crops in the Brassicaceae family.

Generally, canola refers to the edible oil crop that is characterized by low erucic acid (less than 2 percent). "Natural rapeseed" refers to any rapeseed with a high content (min. 45 percent) of erucic acid in the oil.

The lecithin offered by Austrade Inc. is made from rapeseed oil of non-genetically engineered seeds of European origin.

Omega-3:
Rapeseed lecithin has a significant content in C18:3 ALA (alpha-linolenic acid), hence provides generous amounts of this essential omega-3 fat (up to 3.6%). ALA is said to benefit cardiovascular health.
