Organic Apple Powder

We select only the freshest organic spinach and dry using our proprietary, low-thermal drying method. Following the drying, the spinach is processed into a 60 mesh spinach powder. N49 spinach powder is delicious, nutritious and can be used in many different ways.

Spinach powder is a great source of vitamins and minerals that help promote skin health and immune function. Also shown to benefit your digestion due to being high in insoluble fibre and low in carbs. Spinach is known to be an excellent source of iron which brings oxygen back to your body’s tissues as well as calcium which is essential for bone health.

Storage and Shelf Life: Do not expose the spinach powder to heat or direct sunlight. Our spinach powder has a minimum 12 months shelf life when stored properly in a cool, dry atmosphere. Our organic spinach powder also has a shelf life of 24 months when stored in an atmosphere of 20 degrees Celsius or less.

Every year, many crops are considered unsellable despite still being full of nutrients and flavor. Hail-damaged apples, rain-damaged blueberries, and any produce that is slightly bruised or otherwise not aesthetically appealing enough to sell is left in the field and goes unsold and unused.

North of 49 takes sustainability seriously. All of our products are made using fresh, high quality surplus produce that would otherwise be wasted. We work primarily with local farms but also draw product from farms all over the world, many of which are small, family-owned businesses. We use good quality fruits and vegetables and our proprietary, low-thermal drying method to make nutritious, additive-free produce flakes and powders.

We offer all of our powders and flakes in both organic and conventional (non-organic) options. Our organic products are made using 100% organic certified produce. We provide custom milling and sifting services in order to adapt our products to clients’ needs. You can also have your order customized to the exact size grade that you need with our in-house milling and sifting operation. For our fruit products, you can also customize your sweetness–go sugar free, high sugar, or somewhere in between.
