The aroma and flavor are typical of cooked apricots, the puree is free of rancid, musty and objectionable flavors and odors.

In contrast to classic sweet Italian purple plums, red plums are slightly tart, creating balanced sweet-tart notes on the palate. Oregon Fruit Tart Red Plum Puree is higher in acidity and about half the brix of our regular purple plum puree, creating bright, sharp plumminess on the palate perfect for autumnal brews, beverages and products.
