Saskatoon Puree is prepared from clean, sound, fresh or fresh frozen Saskatoon berries. The Saskatoon berries are milled, flashed steamed at 121°C, cooled and aseptically packaged.
The product is processed and packed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.

Freeze Dried Saskatoon Berry Powder

Saskatoon berry fruit topping is made from ripe Saskatoon berries and Saskatoon berry juice concentrate. The fruit topping is heated to a temperature of 80° C and then packed into jars or pails.

Our secondary processing facility produces delicious, gourmet food retail products, high in fruit content and low in sugar.

Prairie Berries is actively involved in Saskatoon Berry product research and development to introduce new Saskatoon Berry products to the market place. We are committed to provide the best quality products to our customers, by ensuring consistency in our grading standards, on Farm Food Safety programs, and processing protocols.

Saskatoon berry pie filling has a fruit content of 70% berries and is made using Grade A Saskatoon berries picked at the peak of the season and quick frozen to maintain optimum fruit quality. The filling is cooked to a temperature of 80°C and then packed into pails.
The product is processed and packed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
