Clarified Grapefruit Concentrate

Unwashed Pasteurized Grapefruit Pulp is prepared by removing pulp from the juice of wholesome ripe fruit from the species Citrus Paradisi, Macf. (family Rutaceae). Pulp cells have not been washed in a counter-current process and are left in a carrier of primary juice, a portion of which has been removed with a drying finisher. Product has been stabilized with heat.

Pink Grapefruit Concentrate is made from freshly extracted grapefruit juice derived from sound fruit of the species Citrus paradisi that have been washed and graded to remove unsound fruit. Processing temperature assure good cloud stability. The reconstituted juice shall have good color and flavor. Predominant cultivars processed include Rio Red, Star Ruby and Redblush (Ruby).
