Hemp Shells come from dehulling always non-GMO, North American grown hemp seeds. We remove the shells as part of making other products and continue to develop new uses for the shells of this super seed.

• Significant amounts of magnesium, iron and copper.
• High in dietary fiber. No sugar, low in fat and protein. 
• Attractive exfoliant (scrub) ingredient.
• Low bulk density.

Sensory Profile: If fully cleaned, crunchy, earthy, slightly nutty flavor.

Food Applications: Hemp Shells make an excellent source of dietary fiber. Hemp Seed Hulls are available whole to meet your specifications.  If you’re looking for flavor or fiber, but don’t need much protein or fat, hulls may offer your solution.

Personal Care Applications: Hemp shells have the potential to make an excellent exfoliant.

Physical: Empty shells as large as half shells, 2-4 mm.

Processing Detail:  The hemp seed shell after we crack the shells and sort out the heart.

Hemp Hulls

Culinary oil mechanically pressed from the whole, raw hemp seed.

Cold Pressed Hemp Seed Oil fits anywhere you use extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) or want to boost your Omega-3 fatty acids including dressings, pestos, dips, and spreads. And the smoke point is just 20°F lower than EVOO. Retaining all of its vitamins and minerals, Cold Pressed Hemp Seed Oil brings both flavor and exceptional nutrition.

Flavor: Earthy, grassy.

Visual: Translucent, deep green to yellow-green depending on viewing.

Processing Detail: Our Cold Pressed Hemp Seed Oil comes from cold pressing the hemp seeds, maintaining temperatures below 130F, before filtering using diatomaceous earth to remove remaining sediment.

Nutrition: Per 15g (tablespoon), 10g polyunsaturated fat to <1g saturated fat. High in linoleic acid (Omega-6), alpha linolenic acid (Omega-3) and Stearic polyunsaturated fatty acids, with an ideal Omega-6:3 ratio of 3:1.

Cold Pressed Hemp Seed Oil

Roasted whole hemp seeds add flavor, crunch & dense nutrition to granolas, nutrition bars, snacks, beer and distilled beverages, and plant-based meals. We think Roasted Hemp Seeds are the sleeper of hemp -- an untapped creative opportunity!

Flavor: A small but satisfying crunch and nutty flavor makes roasted hemp seeds a unique ingredient that fits well with many foods – or as a standalone snack.

Visual: The 2-4mm green-brown hemp seed.

Processing Detail:  We simply clean ‘em and roast ‘em – carefully.  We roast our hemp seeds so they have just the right crunch, not too chewy and not too brittle, before cooling and then packaging.

Nutrition: Roasted Hemp Seeds contain approximately 25% protein, 25% polyunsaturated fat, soluble and insoluble fiber (we need both) and have near-zero carbs or sugars –and 20% of RDA of iron per ounce.

Roasted Hemp Seeds

V-ONE™ Hemp Heart Oil comes from pressing always non-GMO, hemp seed hearts.

We remove the shells before pressing to reach the light color and neutral flavor that makes V-ONE™ so versatile. We make V-ONE™ Hemp Heart Oil without the use of hexane or the typical refining steps for oils. V-ONE™ Hemp Heart Oil offers a unique combination of functional, flavor and nutritional attributes valuable for culinary, skincare, and other uses that will benefit from the nutritional advantages of hemp seed oil combined with a light color and flavor.

Flavor: Lightly nutty, similar to pine nuts.

Visual: Translucent, brilliant clarity, light yellow oil

Nutrition: V-ONE™ Hemp Heart Oil offers the ideal human diet ratio of Omega 6: Omega 3 fatty acids at 3:1. V-ONE™ Hemp Heart Oil is high in polyunsaturated fat and very low in saturated fats.

Shelled Hemp Seeds, or Hearts, are a nutritional and energy powerhouse, full of complete protein and healthy fats.  From granolas and cereals to bars and hemp milk, you can use hemp hearts anywhere you’d use a sesame seed, pine nut, or just about any other nut or seed.

Flavor: Mild, nutty flavor and might best be described as a cross between a pine nut and a sesame seed.
